Once a RAINBOWS Site has been established the programme can be offered to participants. The programme is divided into two blocks of six weeks, each of which is concluded with a "Celebrate Me Day". There are weekly meetings of the participants with the facilitators - these meetings vary in length depending on the age of the participants, in general ranging from 30 to 45 minutes. There are curricula and materials developed by RAINBOWS to be used in these sessions and they are provided at a number of age related levels. The same core themes are used for the weekly meetings at each level, but are explored in ways appropriate to the age of the participants at that level. The programme levels available are as follows:

Sunbeams - Primary School (Junior/Senior Infants)
Rainbows (Levels 1 / 2 / 3) - Primary School (1st - 6th Class)
Spectrum (Levels 1 / 2 / 3) - Secondary School
Kaleidoscope - Young Adult
Prism - Parents
Silver Linings - Crisis Intervention
