Registered Director
The Registered Director is the person responsible for the implementation and progress of RAINBOWS in a particular area. He/she has a thorough understanding of the philosophy, purpose and objectives of the RAINBOWS organisation through the Registered Director Training.
The Registered Director:
- Informs schools, parishes, hospices, young offenders institutions and other agencies or the availability of RAINBOWS in their area, its purpose and results. This may be done through marketing letters, follow-up phone calls, personal visits etc.
- Gives presentations to schools, parents, students, business communities, clergy and religious and all other relevant groups.
- Presents information sessions to potential sites.
- Organises and presents the coordinator and facilitator trainings
- Continues to exercise pastoral care of all sites in his/her area.
- Keeps records of all RAINBOWS correspondence.
- Is responsible for publicity regarding RAINBOWS in their area.
- Encourages and supports fund-raising effort for the benefit of RAINBOWS in their area.
